The Faenza team enters the 2024 season with a fresh identity, transitioning from their AlphaTauri days with the unveiling of their new look and car, the VCARB 01.

The event in Las Vegas was not just a showcase but a statement of renewal, featuring a livery transition from the previous dark blue and white to a vibrant blue and white, reminiscent of the team’s heritage when it was Toro Rosso.

At the heart of the celebration was the VCARB 01, taking center stage amidst the glitz of Las Vegas. The launch was graced by the presence of the team’s new leadership, CEO Peter Bayer and Team Principal Laurent Mekies, indicating a new direction for the team.

The driver lineup of Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda, together with the event’s performances by renowned artists Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem, added to the excitement. Amna Al-Qubaisi also made an appearance, representing the team in the F1 Academy this season.

With the introduction of Laurent Mekies as the new Team Principal following Franz Tost’s departure, RB embarks on a fresh chapter. The team has bolstered its ranks with significant appointments, including Alan Permane as Racing Director, Tim Goss as Chief Technical Officer, and Guillaume Cattelani as Deputy Technical Director, under the guidance of Jody Egginton.

Ricciardo and Tsunoda remain as RB’s driving force, eager to improve upon last season’s performance. After a challenging 2023 season, including Ricciardo’s mid-season hand injury, both drivers and the team are looking forward to a revitalised campaign.
